This role also involves a significant focus on reinsurance, including the assessment of existing agreements, optimization of terms, and involvement in new reinsurance deals. The VP Actuary will play a key leadership role, working with the management team to ensure operational excellence and the financial health of the company. Applicants for the Vice President, Senior Actuary position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree with a strong quantitative background, at least 10 years' of insurance-related actuarial experience, and a minimum of 2 years' of direct experience with reinsurance. An FSA designation is required, with a preference for candidates with Registered Indexed Annuity experience.
