The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the organization's strategies into actionable plans for the operations teams, with a strong focus on both strategy and operations. This role requires a leader who can set the direction, achieve key metrics, and ensure the embodiment of the company's purpose, vision, and values. The RVP will work closely with the SVP of Transportation to define and implement transportation strategies, build and maintain customer relationships, and drive the development of a high-performing team. A key aspect of the position is the ability to coach department leaders, manage a budget, and create operational plans to increase revenue and meet customer satisfaction goals. Applicants for the Regional Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA being a plus, and at least 10 years' experience in the transportation or logistics industry. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in dedicated and/or private fleet operations, superior business acumen, and a proven track record in negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
