The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial reporting and accounting functions for North America, ensuring the accuracy of all transactions, and collaborating with various departments and geographies to maintain precise financial reporting. This role demands a deep understanding of accounting, the ability to lead all financial closing processes, and a continuous evaluation of existing processes for efficiency and controls. The Senior Accountant will also be involved in revenue recognition, accounts receivable, regulatory and audit compliance, financial management, and will be expected to provide financial analysis to support key business decisions. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, a CPA certification, and a minimum of 7-10 years' relevant experience, preferably within an advisory firm, financial services firm, or broker-dealer. Strong knowledge of FINRA regulations and proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems, with SAP knowledge being a plus, are required. The role also demands excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, leadership, and team management skills, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
