The Regional CMO will be a key leader in driving clinical excellence, building and sustaining high-quality primary care teams, and effectively partnering as a dyad clinical leader. This role is pivotal in leading a team of regional and area medical directors, with a focus on comprehensive primary care and value-based care. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving patient outcomes, managing and coordinating with various healthcare partners, and maintaining a clinical practice to stay connected with the needs of the patient population. National leadership and innovation in clinical focus areas are also essential, as is the ability to channel the voices of patients and teams to enhance the organization's presence and attract top-tier clinical talent. Applicants for the Regional CMO position at the company should be entrepreneurial and experienced physician leaders with a strong background in clinical leadership and a passion for serving high-risk seniors. The role requires a minimum of 7 years' of experience as a practicing physician, with at least 5 years' in a strategic clinical leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving clinical excellence, building high-performance care teams, and improving patient outcomes across multiple geographies. Expertise in value-based care, particularly in the context of Medicare Advantage, and a deep understanding of team-based care models are essential.
