Associate Vice President of Senior Information Security Analyst About the Company Top-tier financial services company IndustryFinancial Services TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President - Senior Information Security Analyst with a strong background in leading risk assessments, audits, policy, governance, and reporting, preferably within a financial institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for mapping controls to policies, procedures, and processes, as well as testing these controls to ensure adequate coverage. Additionally, the role involves establishing and maintaining security manuals, working with control owners to remediate and track deficiencies, and assisting in the enhancement of the information security program, strategy, and processes. Key responsibilities for this role at the company include providing security services to identify, assess, manage, and track the remediation of information security risks related to IT infrastructure, applications, platforms, and suppliers. The candidate will also be expected to drive explicit requirements and timelines in all environments, provide updates to the CISO and/or CRO on remediation progress, and manage various security tools and technologies. This includes firewall rule review and approval, system event monitoring and analysis, network monitoring for malicious activity, and data loss prevention. The role also involves managing phishing campaigns, monitoring for PII, and ensuring compliance with data retention policies, as well as overseeing privileged access management and conducting weekly IT meetings to discuss security-related matters. The ideal candidate will have experience with security tools such as Tufin, AlienVault, Tipping Point, Trellix EPO + TMS, Spirion, and PAM, and be adept at working with vendors for troubleshooting and maintenance of IS tools.
