The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cataloging of original illuminated and text manuscripts, as well as managing a team of cataloguers. This includes editing final descriptions, planning and implementing updates to the manuscript sites, and engaging in various activities to promote and sell the manuscripts, such as writing e-catalogues, organizing online and in-person events, and maintaining a strong presence in the art market. The position demands a PhD, essential language skills (Latin and at least two other vernacular languages), excellent paleography, and a broad background in the history and culture of the Middle Ages. Applicants for the Director and Senior Specialist position at the company should be prepared for a challenging yet rewarding role that involves close collaboration with an international team and direct interaction with the CEO and President.
