The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing compliance, privacy, and risk management programs, as well as conducting comprehensive risk assessments and implementing effective mitigation strategies. This role involves designing and implementing policies and practices to safeguard the organization, maintaining open lines of communication regarding compliance and risk activities, and supervising a cross-functional team. The Vice President will also be involved in managing entity contracts, overseeing the privacy program, and engaging with legal counsel as necessary. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, with a Master's or law degree highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior management role in healthcare compliance or operations is required, along with a strong working knowledge of healthcare compliance laws and principles. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical, planning, and communication skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Certification in healthcare compliance is also preferred. The role demands a professional who can effectively manage and process medical malpractice claims-related activities, ensure records management and retention, and chair the Compliance and Risk Management Committee.
