The successful candidate will be responsible for building, leading, integrating, and managing quality system activities across various business units, including R&D, compounding, dispensing, fulfillment, and post-market surveillance. This pivotal role involves ensuring that the management system and quality systems are in alignment with regulatory agency expectations, driving consistency across all sites, and developing strong relationships with cross-functional teams. The VP will also be tasked with leading process improvements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing the development and execution of plans related to QMS enhancements. Applicants for the VP of Quality Systems position at the company should have a BS degree in a technical discipline, with at least 15 years of QA experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and a minimum of 8 years in a management role. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, including ISO, FDA, and USP, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading process improvements, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to apply root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies. A Certified Quality Auditor and/or Certified Quality Manager certification through ASQ is a plus.
