This top-level leadership role is pivotal in executing the division's strategic plan, meeting annual growth and customer retention targets, and guiding the team in business development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying target markets, establishing a new book of business, and maintaining customer relationships. Key responsibilities include negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of major corporate banking loans, as well as developing business checking and deposit relationships. The role also involves supporting the Head of Institutional Commercial Real Estate and managing a team of lenders and analysts. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' of related experience in commercial banking, with a strong background in lending, relationship development, and financial services. The role requires a deep understanding of financial industry trends, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage and develop a team. The ideal candidate will have a superior knowledge of banking compliance regulations, financial statement and tax return analysis, and extensive experience in relationship management.
