The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing corporate accounting, income/franchise tax, and financial functions. This includes ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and federal and state tax regulations, as well as minimizing corporate tax liabilities. The role also involves providing financial information, tax research, and planning to top management, and overseeing the performance of the accounting and taxation departments. Applicants for the Division Head of Accounting and Taxation position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting and/or taxation, with a preference for those who have worked with both GAAP and IFRS. A BA or Master's degree in accounting or taxation is required, and a CPA is a plus. The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory or managerial experience and be adept at monitoring and improving the performance of their teams. Additionally, the role requires the ability to follow up on monthly and year-end closing schedules, as well as federal and state tax returns, to ensure they are filed accurately and on time.
