The successful candidate will be responsible for independently negotiating and handling a wide range of commercial contracts, managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, and providing strategic direction on various corporate and commercial matters. This role requires a professional with a strong background in commercial law, including the ability to structure, draft, and negotiate complex agreements. The Senior Legal Counsel will also be expected to proactively engage with operating teams to assess legal risks and opportunities, as well as to conduct training for both legal and non-legal personnel. Applicants for the Senior Legal Counsel position at the company should have a J.D. from a highly respected law school, with at least 11 years of legal experience in a sophisticated law firm and prominent in-house legal department.
