The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the full spectrum of commercial contracts, with a focus on complex negotiations to support business growth. This strategic role involves shaping contract management processes, developing legal policies, and serving as a trusted advisor to the sales leadership team. Key responsibilities include leading the structuring, negotiation, and drafting of a high volume of complex agreements with global customers, as well as collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with business needs and strategic goals. Applicants must have a JD degree, be an active member of a U.S. state bar, and have at least 7 years of relevant commercial experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial in-house role within a high-growth technology company. The role requires deep expertise in commercial contract law, experience in scaling legal teams, and a collaborative, hands-on leadership style. The Senior Counsel will also be expected to advise on global privacy laws and work with cross-functional teams to incorporate security documentation into customer agreements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in structuring and negotiating a variety of strategic and complex agreements, and a strong ability to foster operational consistency and collaboration across the contracts function.
