This role is pivotal in maximizing the distribution of group benefits through established brokerage and consulting firms, with a particular focus on third-party technology and communication firms. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that is dedicated to this mission, developing and securing a deep understanding of each firm's strategy, and creating business plans that align with partner strategies. Key responsibilities include influencing senior leaders, creating trusted relationships with partners, and proactively working to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of the partners. The role also involves a significant amount of travel and requires a candidate with a life and health license, as well as a strong background in broker-facing roles within group insurance. Applicants for this VP role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in broker-facing roles within group insurance, with a deep working relationship with large broker firms. The ideal candidate will have intimate knowledge of key leaders, products, sales, service, underwriting, and legal aspects of the industry.
