Managing Director of Institutional Advancement About the Company Well-established organization providing supportive services IndustryNon-Profit Organization Management TypeNon Profit About the Role The Company is in need of a Managing Director of Institutional Advancement to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing foundation, government, and corporate foundation support for all programs, campaigns, and general operating activities. This role involves overseeing all institutional giving, developing and implementing strategies to sustain and increase funding, and leading a comprehensive multi-year development strategy. The Managing Director will also be involved in cultivating and maintaining relationships with institutional funders, setting and achieving income goals, and supervising a team of Associate Directors. Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 10 years' of institutional fundraising experience, with a proven track record of securing institutional funding and exceeding income goals. The position requires superior writing skills, direct grant writing expertise, strong planning, strategy, financial, budgeting, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, both in written and oral presentations, and possess proficiency in CRMs, preferably Salesforce. A proactive, creative problem-solver, with the ability to adapt to a growing, changing organization, and a sense of humor is essential.
