Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Position Overview: We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the production of Poly-ISO Insulation and related products. This role ensures efficient plant operations, maintains quality standards, and upholds workplace safety. The Production Supervisor will also step in to support other roles as needed. Pay Rate: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year Key Responsibilities: * Supervise Production Activities - Direct and coordinate daily operations within the production department. * Ensure Safety Compliance - Enforce all plant safety rules and regulations. * Performance Management - Conduct and document employee performance reviews. * Incident & Compliance Reporting - Complete incident reports, disciplinary actions, accident/injury reports, and other required documentation. * Quality Control - Inspect materials for quality defects and address issues as needed. * Training & Development - Assist in onboarding and training new team members. * Plant Maintenance & Housekeeping - Maintain a clean and organized facility, both inside and outside. * Operational Support - Fill in for other supervisors or positions as required due to vacations, absences, or off-site meetings. * Waste Management - Ensure safe and proper disposal of waste chemicals. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Leadership & Supervisory Skills - Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team. * Safety Compliance - Knowledge and certification in Lock-out, Tag-out procedures. * Technical Proficiency - Familiarity with production scheduling, safety policies, and operational equipment. * Computer Skills - Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, Email, and SFIS. * Problem-Solving Abilities - Strong analytical skills to address production challenges effectively. * Communication Skills - Ability to convey information clearly across all levels of the organization. * Equipment Operation - Experience with forklifts, measurement gauges (calipers, heat sensors, tape measures), and production machinery. Education & Experience: * Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred. * Experience: 5-10 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment. * Language: Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred. Work Environment & Schedule: * Location: Indoor manufacturing facility with exposure to temperature variations, dust, chemicals, pinch points, and heavy equipment operation. * Schedule: 40+ hours per week, with overtime as needed. Supervisors work on a rotating schedule in a 7-day operation and typically receive 1-2 days off per week. * Shifts: 2 shifts available. Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. * Hearing and vision capabilities necessary for safety and operational accuracy. Supervisory Responsibilities: * This role has full supervisory responsibilities over production team members.
