As our Account Director, you will... Oversee the US Portfolio for one of our biggest clients in our life science vertical as part of our client services team. You'll act as a senior, solution-oriented leader and key point of contact that thrives on developing lasting relationships between the client and agency teams. Utilizing industry knowledge and experience, you will lead and collaborate with team members to develop effective and innovative solutions that support the client's sales force as well as digital/non-personal programs. This position involves consistent client contact and a high level of performance in a fast-paced environment. Be Accountable and Responsible * Regular assimilation of business, customer, and marketplace insights into the development of strategies and sales/marketing programs * Efficiently and effectively balance the dual expectations of the agency and our clients * Maintain proactive and regular communication with client teams to share progress, creative work, and deliverables to ensure we are on strategy, on time, and on budget * Guide clients by educating them with strategy, ideas, trends, and thought leadership * Create and build relationships with clients to deliver on the overall needs of the client and agency * Sign off on internal agency materials for reporting to the client * Grow business by utilizing experience to identify additional business needs and implement solutions * Incorporate senior staff from other departments as project objectives or issues warrant - and be expected to liaise with other leaders on the client service team e.g., Global marketing leads, customer experience leads * Help manage and grow a team as a mentor and trusted advisor These are the qualifications we're looking for * 8-10 years of account management experience at an advertising agency or similar (minimum 3 years of life sciences experience required; vaccines experience or other buy and bill products preferred) * Strong background in HCP marketing and developing sales force strategies and tools * Understand at a high level data from clinical trials and real world evidence studies * Superior professional communication and presentation skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment * Ability to evaluate competitive activity and messaging and identify implications for client's business * Willingness to roll up your sleeves to be a constant leader to a team in a highly collaborative environment and to develop and execute client service strategies * Advanced client management skills, especially as it relates to expanding business within existing clients * Commitment to the client, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving ability * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience #LI-JK1 #LI-HYBRID At MERGE, we're committed to fostering an environment where our team members can thrive in both their careers and personal lives, ensuring they feel supported and empowered to succeed. The salary range for this role is $98,300 - 117,950, based on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
