Supervisor

Job Description: Ridgefield Public Schools announces a vacancy for a Counseling Supervisor effective July 1, 2025. This will be a 12 month position for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities include: * Acting as 504 Coordinator * Using Naviance * Scheduling courses * Overseeing SAT and AP testing The successful candidate should have: * Kindness, intelligence, creativity, and a sense of humor. * Eligibility for Connecticut certification as an Intermediate Administrator. Endorsement 92 in addition to possessing certification as a School Counselor. * A record of superior performance as a school counselor and evidence of successful school leadership. * A strong academic record, both undergraduate and graduate. * Substantial knowledge of high school curriculum and instruction, intellectual curiosity, strength in staff development, a respect for children and a love of learning. * Experience with comprehensive counseling programming including developmental counseling. * Knowledge of college admissions process. * Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, administrators and the community. * A steady composure, grace under pressure and a willingness to try new things. Annual rate, based on administrative experience, from $156,704 to $184,979. Added $2,000 for a doctorate.
