Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Reporting to the VP, Global Sales, the Sales Director Manager, North America will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the company's sales and retail marketing strategy. This position focuses on managing existing North American retailer relationships while spearheading new business development across Prestige and Mass distribution channels. Operating in close collaboration with the Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams, the Senior Sales Manager will ensure the successful execution of revenue-driving initiatives, product launches, and retail partnerships. This role requires a strategic and entrepreneurial leader with a hands-on approach, capable of driving growth through innovative strategies while maintaining operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Account Management Oversee and nurture relationships with existing retailer partners such as Sephora, Sephora @ Kohl's, and Sephora Canada. Develop and execute a comprehensive approach to sell-in and sell-through strategies, ensuring alignment with internal teams on training, education, and business growth opportunities. Core Focus Areas: Relationship Building: Maintain and strengthen connections with key retail partners to foster trust and mutual success. Budgeting: Develop and manage annual revenue projections, including gross-to-net sales targets and selling expenses. Sell-Through Activation: Create and implement tailored sell-through plans with each retailer, targeting key sales periods. Forecasting: Ensure SKU forecasting accuracy in partnership with internal teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Strategic Growth: Identify creative ways to enhance business performance with retail partners, aligned with the company's overall strategy. New Business Development Drive strategic alignment of new business opportunities within North America to support the company's direction. Collaborate on the 2025 launch of new product collections, ensuring robust strategies, forecasting, and alignment with retail partners. Expand the company's footprint by cultivating relationships with new retailers and distribution channels. Oversee and enhance sales reporting processes, providing actionable insights on sell-through performance, sell-in data, and trends. Partner with internal teams to ensure sales strategies remain data-driven and responsive to market dynamics. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, autonomous, and creative problem-solver with a proven track record in sales and business development. A natural communicator and strategic thinker, this individual must thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while demonstrating the ability to own projects end-to-end. Key Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of the North American Prestige retail landscape, with established relationships or access to key decision-makers at retailers and distributors. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial management (sell-in, sell-through, budget management) of beauty or related products in North American Specialty Stores and Department Stores. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to think strategically while executing tactically, balancing vision with practical implementation. Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% across North America as needed.
