Production Manager

We are seeking a qualified Production Lead to oversee our artisan gelato/ice cream and frozen dessert production. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in the food/dessert industry, great interpersonal and leadership skills, and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: assisting in planning and organizing daily production schedules maintaining accuracy of current recipes and developing new recipes ensuring that health and safety regulations are met while following food safety and HACCP plans overseeing production processes ensure QA and QC are meeting company standards daily research and development on new desserts/gelato flavors selecting, ordering and purchasing ingredients and materials supervising the work of production employees inspecting products prior to shipment to ensure labeling accuracy and proper record keeping assisting with daily production Qualifications: 2+ years previous experience in the dessert industry; baker, pastry chef, ice cream/gelato production, etc. Project management skills Organization and efficiency Leadership and interpersonal skills Problem solving skills Communication skills Team mentality Spanish speaking is a plus Pay Frequency: Weekly Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Food production: 2 years (Preferred) Language: Spanish (Preferred) License/Certification: Food Safety Cerftification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
