Wunderkind is seeking a Manager to join our Professional Services team. You'll leverage your proven leadership abilities to manage a dynamic book of business spanning numerous industries and including well-known household logos. As a people manager, your direct reports will span multiple areas of specialization, ranging from designers, engineers, QA analysts to project managers. Weʼre looking for a highly motivated self-starter who is eager to learn but can also bring a demonstrated track record of success to a hugely impactful role. You will build partnerships both internally, with Customer Success, Product, Sales, etc., as well as externally with both clients and third-party partners. Youʼll also be responsible for revenue-driving integrations across the client lifecycle, from new client onboarding through ongoing maintenance and strategy changes through renewals and upsells"”playing a pivotal role in both their success, and of Wunderkind as a whole. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of your team Remove blockers for your team while providing its members support and guidance Ensure the team is completing projects and tasks accurately while successfully meeting targets and business outcomes Work with the Director of Professional Services to help establish and manage goals for the team Define and maintain a high bar for team member expectations and enable the team to achieve it Challenge the team and yourself to continually learn and grow as trusted advisors to clients Monitor performance of team members and provide timely feedback and development assistance Lead through change and effectively communicate downwards and upwards Foster cross-team partnership Lead or actively participate in department or company-impacting initiatives Demonstrate problem-solving: creativity, critical thinking, resourcefulness Identify opportunities to create new processes or enhance current ones that increase velocity Provide quality delivery and control of work output coming from your team Engage in resource management of your team and proactively identify opportunities and gaps Understand the business and how your pods work contributes to the company goals Learn and support your accounts, leading by their outcomes Provide support towards client retention and onboarding goals for your book of business, interfacing directly with clients when relevant Qualifications: 3-4 years of relevant work experience Previous people management experience a plus Understanding of the role of Professional Services within the industry and how to measure performance The ability to manage a cross-functional team and effectively evaluate the performance of the individuals within those functions Experience with people, process, and finance, and a demonstrated understanding of how all of Servicesʼ groups intertwine for desired outcomes A demonstrated understanding of how each function of a diverse team ties back to the business and how to look at the health of each function Confidence identifying strengths and weaknesses within different functions and processes, with an understanding of why each is critical to overall success A broad understanding of cross-functional partnerships and the value of having strong relationships Demonstrated holistic awareness of how a companyʼs revenue is impacted Outstanding organizational and planning skills, demonstrated ability to prioritize several complex projects simultaneously in rapidly growing and changing environments Ability and eagerness to quickly self-learn new technologies based on customer or business need Excellent communicator, both written and orally; experience in technical writing a plus Familiarity with marketing technology, tools, and concepts a plus Familiarity with ticketing systems, especially Jira, a plus The base salary range for this role is $95,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location.
