About the role We are hiring for a Lead People Research Scientist to join our team, reporting to the Sr. Director of People Data, Analytics, and Technology. In this role, you will lead our Employee Listening programs and design experimental studies to evaluate the effectiveness of People programs. You will apply rigorous research methodologies, including A/B testing, causal inference, and advanced statistical analyses, to generate actionable insights that drive meaningful improvements to employee experience, engagement, and business outcomes. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $130,050 and up to $180,600. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. In this role, you can expect to Lead Chimer Listening programs by designing and analyzing candidate and employee surveys. Develop and implement experimental and quasi-experimental designs to assess People program effectiveness (e.g., policy changes, pilot initiatives, training interventions). Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to measure the impact of People initiatives. Partner with HR, People Operations, and business leaders to translate research findings into strategic recommendations. Apply advanced statistical modeling (e.g., regression, structural equation modeling, difference-in-differences) to derive meaningful insights. Partner with People Analytics to inform the roadmap for data and analytics products. Stay current with industry trends and emerging research in organizational science, behavioral economics, and people analytics. To thrive in this role, you have Ph.D. or Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience conducting employee research, survey design, and experimental studies in a corporate or academic setting. Expertise in statistical testing, causal inference, and A/B testing methodologies . Proficiency in Python or R , as well as SQL for data analysis and visualization. Strong knowledge of survey platforms (Culture Amp is preferred) and text analytics tools. Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and succinctly to executives. Experience working cross-functionally with HR and business stakeholders. Familiarity with One Model is a plus.
