Department OPH-BCDPHA Job Summary Job Description * Develops a strategic plan for coordinating program activity efforts across the state, continually evaluating the plan for all programs and grants assigned. * Ensures that the strategy meets performance measures defined by internal team strategic planning and multiple federal CDC-funded grants. * Collaborates with external partners to ensure coordinated efforts to increase activities offered statewide. * Establishes and maintains partnerships with traditional and non-traditional organizations from both public and private sectors to ensure engagement with statewide efforts. * Works directly with appropriate team members to ensure collaboration in implementing technology-based interventions for community resource referral. * Ensures grant managers write and execute contracts with consultants or external organizations to facilitate implementing the identified strategies. * Monitors performance measures and update grant managers on appropriate deliverables. * Collaborates with evaluation staff to utilize data and grant evaluation results to enhance community resource strategies. * Ensures grant managers work directly with all contractors to ensure timely implementation of deliverables and associated payment. * Oversees grants, as assigned by Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention and Healthcare Access (BCDPHA) leadership. * Develops and implements a comprehensive plan for ensuring all grant deliverables are achieved in a timely manner. * Maintains regular communication with team members contributing to the success of grant delivery. * Monitors progress toward grant deliverables, continually identifying areas for improvement. * Maintains regular communication with grant funding sources, ensuring accurate and timely submission of all requested grant reports. * Implements grant budget tracking tools to manage grant funds, ensuring efficient and appropriate use of funds. * Collaborates with team members managing other funding sources that include/have the potential to impact program work to ensure alignment. * Collaborates with epidemiology and evaluation team members to ensure utilization of appropriate national performance measures and development of project specific performance measures as needed. * Ensures statewide availability of all trainings and BCDPHA technical assistance. * Attends out of state meetings and conferences as necessary. * Other tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: * Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree plus 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional work experience. * Minimum 4 years professional experience performing administrative functions within an office environment or health care field. * Minimum 2 years professional experience with grant management or grant budgets.. * Minimum 1 year professional supervisory experience. * Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; effective organizational and time management skills. * Great attention to detail and follow up. * Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities. * Proficient in the use of Zoom, Teams, and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel. DESIRED: * Advanced degree in Health Education, Public Health, or other related field. * Minimum 5 years professional experience performing administrative functions within an office environment or health care field. * Minimum 3 years professional experience with grant management or grant budgets. * Minimum 2 years professional supervisory experience. * Relevant industry certifications.
