The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive environmental engineering experience including the various Florida Petroleum Cleanup Programs.Experience with hazardous waste, air/wastewater permitting, environmental due diligence, site assessment and basic proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.The successful candidate must:Have a B.S. degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering from an accredited universityHave a Florida Professional Engineer certificateDemonstrate environmental/civil engineering field experienceHave basic knowledge of Florida environmental laws and regulationsHave the availability and willingness for occasional travel throughout FloridaHave effective verbal and written communication/presentation skillsBe proficient in MS OfficeMust be able to effectively interface with co-workers and clientsPossess solid organization and time/project management skillsPossess strong analytical and problem solving skillsPass pre-employment drug testingValid driver's license with a good driving recordBusiness development leads a plusPosition responsibilities include:Mentor junior engineersPrepare and seal Remedial Action Plans and Reports, including tables, figures and other attachmentsPrepare FDOT ROW, NPDES and ROE permitsPrepare Pilot Study Plans and Reports and conduct/oversee Pilot StudiesAssist geologists/scientists during the Site Assessment phaseRemedial system design, startup and troubleshootingOversee remedial construction activitiesOversee system Operations & Maintenance activities and prepare appropriate reportsCompile and evaluate remedial dataInterested in hearing more?
