This includes understanding specific needs related to property types, whether residential homes, commercial spaces, or specialized facilities.Why join us?Full benefits after 30 daysRoom for growthSalary increases with good production11 federal holidaysLunches paid each weekJob DetailsWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.This role is integral to the financial operations of the company, providing support to senior accountants and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Financial Record Maintenance: Assist in preparing and maintaining financial statements, compiling reports, and preparing balance sheets.Accounts Receivable: Document bills and supporting documentation, ensuring timely collection of payments.Accounts Payable: Ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming the validity of debts, and gathering appropriate signatures.Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions, resolving any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.Expense Tracking: Monitor and code expenses to appropriate accounts, ensuring alignment with budgets and company guidelines.Payroll Processing: Assist in gathering payroll expenses and inputting them into appropriate entry lines.Auditing and Reporting: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing related reports and supporting documentation for audits.Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and company policies.Qualifications:Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
