Job Title: Graphic Designer (Part-Time, Hospitality Focus) Location: In-Office Commitment: Junior Level: 3 days a week | Mid-Level: 2 days a week Pay: Freelance, $50-60 per hour depending on experience Preferred Qualifications: Graduate from Parsons, SVA, or another design-focused school. Experience in branding and design execution. A keen eye for aesthetics and detail. Key Responsibilities: Execute and implement creative direction effectively. Maintain brand integrity across multiple brands and platforms. Ensure clean file setup, with technical proficiency in asset management and export. Work across multiple projects, adapting to various brand voices and guidelines. Develop layouts with an understanding of typographic hierarchy, grids, and visual balance. Collaborate with external contractors and vendors as needed. Operate within defined timelines and schedules. Create and design visual content for social media marketing initiatives and promotion, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and goals. Required Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Ability to create simple animations (GIFs). Basic CSS coding skills (within Squarespace). Some illustration skills (vector or traditional). Passion for hospitality and branding. Experience with additional design software (CAD, Sketch-Up, etc.) is a plus. Strong organizational skills and systematic work approach. Ability to multitask across different brands and mediums. Receptive to direction and committed to execution rather than solely conceptual input. Strong communication skills: English fluency is required.
