Champagne Tiger is a celebratory French American diner located on East Colfax. Hosting weekly entertainment and menu specials merging the best of American Diner and French Bistro classics in a high energy atmosphere and joyous atmosphere. Weekly specials include: Pasta and Piano Night, Fried Chicken and Song and Denver's Most Luxurious Drag Show. The Sous Chef will work in tandem with Chef Josh Hood and the current Sous Chef to help the team successfully execute a busy summer season with constant events and private functions on the patio. They will help run all of the back of house operations and assist in administrative duties for the back of house including invoicing, ordering of all dry goods, and inventory. They are expected to support the kitchen team in day to day operations, working as a team with the current Sous Chef with duties including training standards, mis en place, recipe knowledge and prep. A potential candidate must have previous experience as a Sous or veteran line cook and a strong ability to multitask. You must be a hard worker who is not afraid to jump in and go above and beyond for their team. We are looking for a Sous who has a desire to have creative input and make Champagne Tiger a success including private dining menu, Brunch menu and Patio Menu. Owner, Chris Donato, has lived in Colorado since 2005. Joining the Frasca Food and Wine Team in 2010, working as the opening GM at Pizzeria Locale Boulder before helping the business grow to Denver and beyond until 2022. Sous and experienced line cooks only. To apply you must be a dedicated and passionate leader. Champagne Tiger Sous Chef Expectations: -Maintain consistency and presence in the kitchen -Knowledge of each station and ability to run each station -Ability to run expo and help the line as needed -Assist in training and teaching the team in accordance to Chef de Cuisine and company standards -3 line checks daily -Mise en place checks daily -Assist with inventory, ordering, and Craftable management -Manage Family Meal -Weekly meetings with Chef Josh and Chris -Maintain a clean and orderly workspace -Help to maintain a positive workspace conducive to growth -Assist in the creation and management of Tiger's Den - private dining - 4 course menu - Help manage fresh pasta production for Wednesday nights
