Job Description: We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Broiler Cook to join our culinary team at the Ketel One Club at the United Center. As a Broiler Cook, you will be responsible for cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will have experience using grill and broiler equipment to prepare steaks, chicken, and other meats, and will thrive under pressure while maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency. Responsibilities: Cook steaks, chicken, and other meats to perfection using grill and broiler equipment. Ensure the consistent quality and presentation of food items before they are served. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill and broiler stations, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards. Work efficiently and effectively during high-volume periods, particularly on event and game days. Monitor cooking temperatures, adjusting as necessary to ensure food is cooked to the correct level. Follow recipes and cooking instructions to ensure food is prepared accurately and meets quality standards. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of orders. Assist with prep work and other kitchen tasks as needed. Requirements: Proven experience cooking on a grill and broiler, with a strong focus on steaks, chicken, and other proteins. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow recipes and ensure food is cooked to the appropriate level. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules. Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen environment is preferred.
