The CDO will be a senior institutional administrator, responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion plan that aligns with the university's strategic vision. This role involves leading and collaborating with the university community to create and sustain an inclusive environment, fostering a culture of belonging, and ensuring that diversity and inclusion are integrated into all aspects of the institution's operations. The successful candidate will be a proactive and visible leader, with a proven track record in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to assess and enhance the effectiveness of programs in these areas. Applicants for the CDO position at the company should have a master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a terminal or doctoral degree, and at least 10 years of senior-level administrative experience in higher education or a comparably complex enterprise. The role requires exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with a wide range of constituencies.
