The successful candidate will be a key member of the legal team, providing commercial counseling and transactional support on a global scale. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 7 years' legal experience, including at least 3 years in a commercial counseling role within an in-house legal department. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, team-oriented individual with a proven track record in advising on complex commercial law transactions and legal issues, ensuring the best possible business outcomes with minimal risk. Responsibilities for the Assistant General Counsel position at the company include but are not limited to, offering strategic legal advice to the business, negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial agreements, and managing legal aspects of the company's global operations. The role demands a self-starter with strong analytical skills, capable of handling significant responsibility and acting as a trusted business partner. The candidate should be adept at problem-solving, and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Juris Doctor degree and a current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction are required, with the ability to be qualified to work in-house in Massachusetts.
