Summer Seasonal Groundskeeper (Part Time or Full Time)

Position Title: Seasonal Groundskeeper Position Reports to: Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent Employee Categories: Full Time or Part Time, Seasonal FLSA Category: Non-Exempt; Hourly Routine maintenance of the golf course including mowing of greens, tees, fairways, and rough, bunker maintenance, divot filling, trim work, course set up, hazard maintenance, aerification and other various duties involved in daily golf course upkeep. Primary Responsibilities: * Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and roughs * Golf Course setup * Construction projects. This includes drainage work. * Hand watering * Bunker maintenance * Tree care * Aerification of all playing surfaces * Divot filling * String trim * Trash removal * Winter maintenance on machinery * Shop maintenance * Snow removal * Any other duties that may include upkeep of a private championship golf course Required Skills: * A willingness to learn is key * Must be over 18 years of age * Must have a driver's license * Some golf course maintenance experience a plus Uniform Requirements: * Partial uniform is provided Physical Requirements: * Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day * Must have the endurance to walk and push machines * Must have the ability to lift, bend, and reach * Able to lift up to 50 lbs * Must be punctual
