Intake and Family Recruitment Supervisor The Intake and Family Finding Supervisor will work with the Program Director and 5 case planning staff to ensure the timeliness and quality of activities including EFFC intake, Foster Parent Recruitment and Trainings. Reports to: Director of Intake, Homefinding and Permanency, FAMILY FOSTER CARE Location: 7 West Burnside Avenue, Bronx, New York 10453 Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Exempt Salary Range: $72K-$78K Based on relevant education and experience Major Duties: Supervise Intake Workers, Foster Parent Training specialist and Two Foster Parent Recruiters. Review referrals from Office of Placement (OPA) to assess needs of the program and make an appropriate match. Ensure every family receives an initial assessment at intake and the POS lines are open where appropriate. Review emergency kinship home studies and assess if the program can meet the needs of the referrals. Assist in the maintenance of vacancy lists and assess the lateral transfers of the youth in the EFFC program. Maintain a system to monitor and track intakes/rejections and assessments. Oversee the contracts and spending spreadsheets with furniture vendors for intakes. Ensure that the CNNX system foster parent capacity and bed placements is up to date. Monitor progress towards EFFC Foster Parent Recruitment Goals. Ensure to effectively communicate progress or barriers to internal and external stakeholders. Oversee the two foster parent recruiters in organizing community recruitment events for foster parents. Maintain an annual recruitment and retention plan to ensure that the target goals are met. Maintain open communication and build relationships with prospective foster parent applicants and current foster parents. Maintain a system to monitor and track annual Foster Parent trainings. Ensure that the foster parent trainer is collaborating with both homefinding and case planning team to get foster parents the accurate and appropriate training hours as per ACS and OCFS requirements. Work alongside Homefinding Supervisor and collaborate during recruitment efforts, foster home placements and trainings. Assist in the preparation and response to audits by ACS, OCFS, and other funding sources. Collaborate with Impact and Evaluation Department on special projects and reconciliations to ensure that training information for foster parents is accurate and current. Maintain statistics and generate reports on all unit activities on a monthly and as needed basis. Oversee the on call after hours staff, review weekly logs, and maintain staff up to date with new ACS updates regarding intake. Collaborate with colleagues from other agencies and attend outside meetings as appropriate. Maintain partnerships with training consultants and oversee payments. Participate in departmental staff meetings, committees and other duties related to the job objective as needed. Participates in ongoing communication with other GSS departments/units. Effectively use and practice the Sanctuary Model tools: safety plans, community meetings, psycho-educational groups, team meetings, red flag reviews, treatment planning conferences (or similar) and self care, when applicable, in the department/program to create a non-violent and trauma-sensitive culture. Collaborate with ACS and their Home Away From Home collaborative meetings. Implement the program and requirements with staff. Maintain monthly ACS spreadsheets as needed. Integrate the Sanctuary Model SELF (Safety, Emotional Management, Loss and Future) framework into daily practice to ensure quality care and an effective work environment. Promote and model the seven Sanctuary Model commitments to create a non-violent and trauma-sensitive culture. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications: Masters of Social Work or Masters Degree in a related field. Minimum of three years experience of social services and/or child welfare experience required. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish). Supervisory or group work experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel. Excellent organizational skills.
