Base pay range $220,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr Responsibilities Kforce is working with a well-known Healthcare Organization in search of Director of Enterprise Cloud Architect - Azure to join their team! This is a new position due to tremendous growth and reports to the CTO. This position is a direct-hire, full-time and hybrid 3-days a week in NY. The ideal candidate has strong architecture and engineering skills and experience designing and implementing PAAS, IAAS and SAAS. Director of Enterprise Cloud Architect Essential Functions: Enterprise Cloud Architect will establish architecture strategy and engage with domain leaders to align architecture strategy with priorities Research and identify required architecture components and frameworks Develop architectural principles and design cloud solution implementation document Designs target state Cloud Architecture Builds Reusable Patterns for application development Ensures Infrastructure leaders buy-in to the design and solution and develop RACI Implementation assessments governance forum (JAEDR) Act as the SME for Azure cloud services Cloud services technical strategy & planning development for private, public and hybrid cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS and other XaaS offerings Analyze proposed changes to identify architecture strategies for meeting business objectives and impacts, including costs and effort required to implement Work with Cloud Service Brokers to identify and solution Advise stakeholders on leading cloud practices and architectural approaches Provide cloud architecture governance and oversight on new and evolving patterns Design and develop with consideration for non-functional requirements (scalability, reliability, availability, observability, fault tolerance, security, and maintainability) Form and maintain a trusted relationship with senior leaders in technical and non-technical spaces, driving alignment between product and technical roadmaps Requirements B.S. degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field 15+ years in technology management with intimate knowledge of distributed systems technologies such as server, storage, desktop, enterprise monitoring tools architecture 8+ years of Azure cloud architecture, Engineering, and design experience Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives Experience with architecture review board governance structure In-depth experience with Microsoft, Unix & Linux O/S Experience with Cloud native (AWS, Azure, GCP), on-prem and hybrid IAM environments Experience in designing and implementation of PAAS, IAAS & SAAS In-depth experience with Azure Cloud Multi-Tenant implementation design Experience leading enterprise through transformation including architecting, building and implementing enterprise cloud platform services in a large multi-dimensional enterprise as well as change management and latching into an agile framework Hands-on experience in implementing best practices for cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services in a multi cloud environment Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automated deployments multiple environments Strong knowledge integrating AAD with Azure and automating IAM Deep understanding of different access methods - Role based and Attribute based Good understanding of F5-Application Security manager (ASM) policies and conceptual understating of how its configured Strong knowledge of industry-leading IAM tools and integration patterns using SAML, OAuth Experience with Privileged Access Management and credential management tools like CyberArk Knowledge of active directory services and disaster recovery Authentication and remote access technologies The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
