The role: Hustlers wanted As our Founding Director of Real Estate, you'll use your real estate network and sales skills to source, structure, and close deals to grow Haus' portfolio of luxury mid-term rentals. In this role, you'll work closely with our CEO and COO to develop and execute our growth & acquisition strategy to identify and pursue high-value deals in New York City and beyond. We are looking for a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to sell and close deals, as well as someone that can operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment with limited structure. If you are a professional who possesses great interest in commercial and multifamily real estate, with strong communications skills then this role may be for you! What you'll do: Sign as many qualified new units as possible ; drive supply growth through identifying top-of-funnel growth opportunities, building relationships with asset owners and brokers, and nurturing deals from inception to close. Sell Haus to developers and multifamily owners by articulating the benefits of this category of real estate. Communicate Haus' value proposition to owners clearly and effectively, and articulate our revenue-sharing model. Identify and attract top of funnel opportunities that fit Haus' brand standards by connecting with owners, brokers, and other stakeholders. Research qualified real estate owners, assets, and operators to build a lead list of strategic targets for our portfolio. Work closely with the CEO and COO to develop and implement a growth & acquisition plan for New York City and beyond. Build relationships with developers, building owners, and individual real estate investors to drive supply pipeline growth. Negotiate and structure deals in conjunction with Haus' executive team. Craft, negotiate, and structure management agreements favorable to Haus and its guests. Become an expert at pipeline management while driving improvements to the process when shortcomings are identified. Who we're looking for (in descending order of importance): Unlimited hustle and scrappiness Excellent sales skills and all-star closing ability -- startup SDR/BDR or executive experience preferred, extra points for proptech/real estate experience. You live, breathe, and sleep real estate, and you are ultra passionate and knowledgeable about the local market Strong communication skills with an eye-to-detail approach A real estate license will be considered a plus but it is not a requirement Quick thinker and dealmaker Looking to work on a small, tightly-knit team who is self-motivated to make an impact and take initiative You are decisive, analytical, and entrepreneurial, with a drive to implement and execute a strategic plan for property acquisition Based in NYC metro area Perks and Benefits: This role has an all-in salary range (base + bonus) of $90,000-$145,000 depending on skills and experience Stock options Senior role at high-growth startup with upward advancement opportunities Health insurance Sick leave and a generous PTO policy A fun, motivated team in a flexible, fast-paced work environment!
