Follows established standards of sanitation and safety. Duties and Responsibilities:1. Ensures handheld tablets are operational prior to visiting patients and obtaining meal order selections.2. Greets patients: discusses and obtains their menu selections for the next day's meals, adhering to dietary restrictions (as applicable); and confirms and inputs patients' choices in the system using a handheld tablet.3. Monitor patient's meal-time to ensure and facilitate any issues or complaints that arise.4. Checks patient's trays for allergens and special requests, proper reheating, and accuracy, ensuring all items on tray tickets are present, in keeping with their diet restrictions.5. Assesmbles and delivers late trays to all patient units as needed in a timely fashion. 6. Engages in service recovery to address patient complaints, whenever possible, including delivering additional items to patients, in keeping with their diet restrictions.7. Effectively communicates and collaborates with patients, and the interdisciplinary team to solve any concerns regarding patient's understanding of menu selections through 1-1 or group sessions.8. Completes daily service satisfaction rounds and enters results of service into a computer program, such as Experience or a similar system.10. Hand out snacks and water to patients at scheduled times.11. Assists in groups with Activity Therapy and/or Peer Counselors.12. Assists with setting u and planning Special Events for patients on the units.13. Encourage patients being discharged to complete the Patient Satisfaction Survey. 14. Performs other tasks are needed.Minimum QualificationsAssignment Level I 1. High School diploma or GED; and 2. One (1) year of full-time customer service experience; and 3. Good written and oral English communication skills; and 4.
