Executive Committee Member

The Northside Food Pantry Advisors (NFPA) is looking for volunteer Executive Committee Members to join their team. NFPA's mission is to ensure sustainable health and food security for their neighbors by donating time, money, and goods. They were formed in 2013 to support the Northside Food Pantry and serve as a fundraising organization, working with other area pantries, Freeman Farm, and UPMC Childrens Hospital FoodBucks Rx program to provide fresh produce to vulnerable Northsiders.The Executive Committee Members will play a crucial role in helping NFPA continue their efforts in distributing produce to those in need. They will work with other committee members to strategize and plan fundraising events, manage finances, and oversee operations to ensure the organization's mission is being carried out effectively. NFPA has distributed over 67,000 pounds of produce and spent over $76,756.65 since its inception, and the Executive Committee Members will help drive the organization's continued success in supporting the community.This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food security and community support to make a meaningful impact in the Northside area. Executive Committee Members will have the chance to work closely with other dedicated volunteers and community partners to address food insecurity and promote sustainable health practices.
