Director Compliance Counsel

The Director, Compliance Counsel will be responsible for overseeing the corporate compliance program at the client. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, the Counsel will serve as the main point person for compliance matters, providing guidance on risk assessment, new product approvals, monitoring and testing, and training. They will also lead the regulatory change management process and advise on conduct risk, conflicts of interest, and internal addition, the Counsel will manage the client's compliance program by implementing policies and procedures related to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, customer interactions, insider trading, personal trading, and gifts and entertainment. They will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and conduct reviews when necessary. The Counsel will be part of a dynamic Compliance and Legal team, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.Overall, the Director, Compliance Counsel role at the client is a key position within the organization, requiring strong knowledge of compliance regulations and the ability to effectively communicate and advise internal stakeholders.
