Director of Provider Coding and Billing

The client, a nonprofit health system in Carrollton Georgia, is looking for a Director of Provider Coding and Billing to join Tanner Medical Group. This individual will serve as the Subject Matter Expert on all coding and billing matters for the healthcare system, overseeing around 40 practices. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Director will manage a team of nine direct reports and approximately 24 FTEs. Responsibilities include creating and implementing a biannual audit schedule and providing targeted education to physicians on coding best practices to improve provider engagement.The ideal candidate for this role will be a hands-on leader with extensive experience in professional/provider coding and billing. Strong mentoring skills and exceptional relationship-building abilities are essential for success in this position.
