Floor Manager The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, punctual, self-motivated, warm, hospitable, and above all a team player. Required Skills/Qualities Impeccable customer service People management, fostering teamwork, and giving feedback Highly effective communicator Self-motivated Strong multi-tasking abilities Solid conflict resolution A deep passion for food and hospitality Outstanding interpersonal relationship building Essential Job Functions Oversee Front of house departments and daily restaurant operations Uphold company standards of customer service, health and safety regulations, and company policies and procedures Cultivate customer relations, answer questions, address complaints, and ensure prompt service and satisfaction. Oversee the balancing of cash drawers, record income, and expenditures Monitor restaurant supply, food, and beverage inventories, and communicate inventory status to purchasers Lead daily pre-shifts meetings, encourage employee feedback, and incentivize service sales Foster a communicative and open work environment Ensure an organized, smooth and efficient service for guests and staff by being present and proactive on the floor Coach staff to converse about menu offerings, product sourcing, and culinary preparation techniques Oversee proper management of VIP reservations with the Hauser and Wirth Art Gallery Delegate work duties, maintain schedules and employee timecards, and maximize covers "Fill in the gaps" when it comes to service Maintain a clean and safe work environment, which includes the restaurant, loading dock, and all other work premises Communicate daily service notes, employee performance, operational or customer service concerns with other managers Additional Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and set-up of events Supervise and direct event staff Order stock and perform various administrative duties. Assist in staff counseling or performance reviews Assist with the coordination of staff tours and gallery events Experience, and License Requirements Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred. Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and develop staff members. Exceptional organizational management skills.
