For almost four decades, our Geothermal Heat Pumps, Water Source Heat Pumps, and Heat Recovery Chillers have been reducing energy usage consumption and increasing comfort in buildings around the world.Our PurposeTo transform the way we use energy, protect resources for future generations, and give people the freedom to focus on life.JOB POSTING - SUPERVISOR, 2ND SHIFT, MAIN LINEWork Hours: 3:30pm - 2:00am Monday - Thursday, overtime as required.Reports to: 2nd Shift Lead SupervisorSupervisory Responsibilities:Ensure all safety procedures are followed to ensure maximum protection is implemented for employees and equipment.Provide leadership and direction to employees under their direct responsibility by training, mentoring, guiding, managing employee performance, disciplining and recourse planning.Duties/Responsibilities:Meet requirements for production by coordinating with sales personnel to meet customer specifications, scheduling and shipping dates, and pricing to ensure high quality products consistent with profit goals, objectives and the customer needs.Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations, as well as ensuring PPE requirements are followed and ensuring all incidents are immediately reported and properly handled.Meet quality goals and standards along with maintaining 5S standards in their area of direct responsibility.Work with Department Manager and Quality Management Team, quality issues, non-conformance issues, process control, continuous improvement, Kaizen activities, and all policies and requirements of the governing version of ISO-9000.Oversee the flow of product through their area of responsibility.Embrace lean manufacturing techniques and work closely to implement such changes on a timely basis. Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent communicator.Team player that actively participates in a continuous improvement environment with coworkers.Ability to differentiate between different types of materials.Competent knowledge of reading and interpreting prints.Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of quality.Familiar with ISO 9000 and ISO 14001, which is used to perform job duties.Has knowledge of lean concepts including root cause analysis.This position will require flexible hours.Able to work overtime as needed.Requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude in problem-solving.Epicor experience is preferred.Strong Excel and Office 365 skills.Attention to detail.Education and Experience:Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.3 years of experience in a supervisor role in a manufacturing position.5-7 years of manufacturing experience required.HVAC experience is preferred.OSHA certification preferred.
