Spring Seasonal Openings

Hicks Nurseries is a $40 million revenue, single-location retail, and wholesale garden center in Westbury, NY. We are the largest garden center on Long Island! We are getting ready for the Spring season and are looking for great people to join our team! Come grow with us! We have positions in our Retail store and Wholesale divisions. Seasonal positions are available in our Nursery yards, Greenhouses, Receiving area, Customer Service and Cashiering. Weekend and holiday availability is required for some positions. Morning/day shifts available. Seasonal positions begin in March/April and typically end in early July, depending on the position. We will begin interviewing soon! Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs. depending on the position. Ability to be on your feet all day. Must be interested in engaging with customers. Customer service focused. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions. Ability to push and pull carts, reach for objects, bend down and stand for long periods of time.
