Overview A Senior Associate Technology contributes to Sapient engagements by creating units of defect free code modules that meet the business and technical requirements during Enterprise Architecture Release (Ear), Implementation and Manage phases. Responsibilities Business: Understand client business and domain. Identify opportunity for digital transformation. Identify technology enablers to extend client business ecosystem. Work with architect for technology evaluation and solution. Provide quick POC for benchmarking solutions that are competitive, easy to develop, scale, and are cost effective. Work with your architect to cater to all aspects of the solution like architecture, provisioning, networking, estimation, and planning. Map client requirements to API contract, documentation along with mocked response. Engineering: Follow your passion to explore and apply innovative solutions to enhance existing solutions. Build boilerplate code, templates, and accelerators to enable faster delivery and predictable quality solutions. Rollout white papers, POVs, reference implementations and conduct seminars to share this knowledge. Enable Potential: Mentor Jr. Developers. Conduct code reviews. Open to feedback. Create a fair ground for everyone to contribute. Qualifications Minimum experience of 7+ years. Must be a US citizen. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required. A strong Java Technical and Analytical skills. Key behavioral attributes around leadership, innovation, learning aptitude, flexibility, and being a great team player. SKILL REQUIREMENTS Must have engineering skills: A polyglot full life cycle engineer, who can manage the entire product lifecycle on their own. Requirement: Understand requirements to map to service contract. Design: Experience in high-level design and low-level design. Implementation: End to end implementation, reviews, and code quality plugins. DevOps: Hands-on DevOps. Testing: Unit testing and subsequent testing phases and propagation. Productization: Experience in production release & troubleshoot. Must have development Skills: REST based services design and implementations (Node JS / Java Spring / React / Golang). Experience in any one of the messaging systems (Kafka / Rabbit MQ / IBM MQ / Active MQ). Any experience with event-driven architecture. Must have DevOps and monitoring Skills: Experience with Maven / Gradle / Jenkins / Gitlab / Terraform & Docker. Experience in any monitoring tool (ELK / Splunk / Kiali / Prometheus / Grafana / Dynatrace / Datadog / others). Must have cloud Skills: Experience in any of the cloud services (GCP / AWS / Azure / others) for application deployment and using cloud services in the development cycle. Good to have Advance API Skills: Experience with any one of the API gateway products (APIGEE / API Connect / Kong / Mule / AWS API Manager / Azure APIM / others). Experience with GraphQL. gRPC standards. Must have Database Skills: NoSQL & or SQL (Postgres / MongoDB / MYSQL / NEO4J / others). NOTE: This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be onsite at least 2x/week. Additional information Annual Pay Range: USD 105,000 - USD 150,000. The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently used at Publicis Sapient. The actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and the specific skillset required for the work itself.
