Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Principal Consultant | Tech Infrastructure @ Huxley - STEM Talent Overview: Our client is a dynamic Fintech company specializing in risk and finance solutions, based in Woburn, MA. Team Overview: The IT team is small but mighty, consisting of four dedicated members including the Manager, who focuses on design and oversight, while also engaging in hands-on work. The team includes an automation engineer, a Senior Cloud DevOps engineer, and an internal IT specialist handling new employee onboarding and login issues. They also have another team working out of another office focusing on Software Dev. Role Overview: As a Cloud Engineer you will be a key player in three main areas: IT Ticketing and Escalated Support: Manage and triage IT tickets from external customers. Provide hands-on technical support and problem-solving. Handle user provisioning, including onboarding clients and managing both on-prem and web-based systems, following established standards. Bespoke application support. Research and Development (R&D): Explore the Azure catalog and evaluate emerging cloud technologies. Identify and recommend tools to enhance services, reduce costs, and support your professional growth. Stay curious and proactive in finding new solutions. Automation: Assist with automation projects. Be willing to learn and develop skills in automation as projects arise. Experience: Experience managing a ticketing system and responding to customer inquiries (Service Desk Plus experience is a plus, but any ticketing system experience is valuable). Proficiency in provisioning virtual machines and setting up new users. Basic familiarity with PowerShell automation and a willingness to upskill. Exposure to Azure cloud technologies. Strong documentation skills to support team efficiency and growth. A passion for learning and professional development. Attention to detail, especially when working with financial clients. Initiative and a customer service mindset. Experience working with financial or banking industry clients is a plus.
