Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement a comprehensive global indirect tax strategy aligned with the company's business objectives. Oversee indirect tax compliance and reporting across all jurisdictions to ensure timely and accurate filings. Monitor and interpret evolving indirect tax laws, regulations, and policies, advising leadership on potential impacts. Manage tax audits, disputes, and inquiries from tax authorities, minimizing financial and reputational risks. Collaborate with finance, legal, and IT teams to optimize tax reporting processes and enhance efficiency through automation and technology solutions, including E-Reporting, E-Invoicing, and ERP implementation. Provide strategic guidance on tax-efficient supply chain structuring, business expansions, and cross-border transactions. Establish and maintain indirect tax governance frameworks, policies, and internal controls. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of indirect tax professionals. Engage with external advisors, industry groups, and tax authorities to stay ahead of regulatory changes and emerging trends. Compensation & Benefits Details An employee's pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, geographic location, and business needs. The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.
