This position will be a full-time 8 month contract and on-site. 2nd shift Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3am.What You'll Do Operates a wide variety of Sandblasting machinesPerforms routine or repetitive operations in a manner, which will consistently meet quality requirements and production standardsActively participates in continuous improvement activitiesWorks from drawings and/or specifications as well as Traveler instructionsEvaluates job performance compared to established production and quality standardsMakes suggestions to design new fixtures and for improvements to processes to enhance operationsMaintains files for set-up procedures and required tooling, as needed, to manufacture parts to specificationsConducts quality checks through the use of fixed or adjustable precision measuring devicesLubricates and cleans machines as necessaryMaintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
