Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Unit Administrator/ Specialist for The School of Social Work. This position will also support the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Key Responsibilities Schedules meetings including creating Doodle Polls. Prepares agenda for IIDEA (Inclusion, Intersectionality, Diversity & Advancement) committee meetings. Attends and prepares meeting minutes for IIDEA committee meetings. Manages Teams channel for IIDEA committee. Gathers faculty's DEI research and DEI efforts on a monthly basis. Assists with editing special reports and newsletters such as IIDEA Annual Report, DEI and IIDEA Progress Reports, and IIDEA newsletter. Meets with Director of Communications as needed regarding reports and newsletters. Coordinates monthly faculty/staff website features. Position Status Part Time Hours Per Week: 19.50 Daily Work Shift: Day FLSA: Nonexempt Position Salary: $25.00 - $30.00/hourly Terms of Appointment: Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively. Strong communication skills. Excellent computer skills and experience with software tools, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and other necessary tools. Ability to interact effectively with a broad range of people including faculty, staff, and students.
