Our Winning Behaviors are: * Be Customer & Results Driven * Anticipate the Possibilities * Collaborate & Care * Communicate Responsibly * Develop Self & Others * Get Better Every Day HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: The Inventory Manager is responsible for establishing and managing inventory control processes and deploying them across all 6 Henderson upfit locations, along with championing the upfit and service parts fulfillment process via stocking strategies for Upfit and Service Centers. This position requires strong analytical skills along with an in-depth understanding of Hendersons process flow and inventory practices. Collaborating with a variety of departments and driving improvements that positively impact inventory metrics will be key in improving overall inventory accuracy within the company. Strong leadership skills and communication skills are critical in this role to share knowledge and guide other team members in inventory best practices. * Lead by example and promote Winning Behaviors across all teams. * Manage team of ~12 inventory control/material handlers across 6 locations * Establish controls and processes across locations to achieve and maintain inventory accuracy goals. * Organize and lead annual Physical Inventory events * Coordinate and perform strategic cycle counts, root cause as required, and process adjustments. * Optimize flow of materials through all operations by implementing inventory controls and efficient transportation methods. * Identify and manage stocking locations and quantities of high-volume service parts (consumables & wear items). * Analyze and determine the order fulfillment style, stocking levels, and storage locations of stocked manufactured parts. * Review E&O lists and work with Engineering and Production Control to consume/scrap excess and obsolete parts * Collaborate with other departments to analyze overall inventory value and assist with inventory reductions as needed * Utilize business process flow skills and operations knowledge to implement improvements supporting core responsibilities. * Lead the digital transformation of inventory management. WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS: * Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required * 2-3 years personnel management experience * 3-5 years inventory management experience * Experience with ERP systems supporting inventory management * CPIM certification a plus * Strong oral and written communication skills * Results-driven mindset, focusing on serving external and internal customers. * Operations background with knowledge of order management from scheduling to delivery to end customer. * Ability to analyze problems; categorize & simplify complex issues to deliver incremental improvement. * Accuracy and detail focused. * Team oriented, working with other employees across the company to effectively accomplish daily tasks * Strong leadership and communication skills to drive change * Competent computer skills with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, handheld devices, and other technical resources as required. * Up to 50% travel required domestically Our focus on integrity, teamwork, and high performance creates an ideal work environment for every one of our employees.
