The Production Supervisor will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of production, including the direct supervision of production crews. This role requires a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and cooperation among all employees.Primary Responsibilities Operate and understand extrusion equipment, including presses, tooling, saws, and stretchers. Read and execute press schedules to ensure production efficiency. Supervise manufacturing resources to meet production goals established by operations management in alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with other supervisors on daily schedules, workflows, personnel management, and addressing issues affecting department performance. Utilize measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures) effectively. Coach, train, and ensure compliance with established plant procedures while demonstrating respect for team members' capabilities. Maintain proficiency in computer systems, including ERP databases, timekeeping, and attendance systems. Compose clear and professional email communications within the company. Qualifications Experience in aluminum extrusion processes or a related manufacturing field. Strong leadership and supervisory skills with a focus on team collaboration. Technical aptitude with extrusion equipment and measuring tools. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
