Truck Driver

Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation's discerning foodservice, retail, industrial and institutional customers with the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 50 years. NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA. We are looking for a Truck Driver to drive a 53' tractor/trailer with a flat nose cab, dump truck, and yard truck. This role will be responsible for loading/unloading own truck; may assist others with loading; and able to perform other duties as assigned within the warehouse functions or driving related duties within our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA.For additional information, please see our "About Us" video, Our Story - Neil Jones Food CompanyKey Responsibilities: May drive in tight situations.Uses a forklift to load and unload tractor/trailer and assist others on the dock(s). Performs daily preventive maintenance checks on truck/trailer.Completes logbooks and load related paperwork; completes inventory transfers.Communicates effectively with all warehouse staff and shipping personnel.Requirements:GED or high school diploma.Valid CDL A driver's license, Forklift Certification, and insurable under the company plan.At least 2 years of truck driver experience and able to drive manual and automatic transmissions.Prior experience in a shipping/receiving or loading dock environment preferred.
