The position serves as a resource for department managers and individual team members to promote a collaborative work experience and cultural alignment. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in HR, communications, business, or a related field is required. A minimum of 1 year of general Human Resources experience with employee relations/engagement experience is required. HR certification, PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred. Experience demonstrating strong internal communication skills, including interpersonal savvy, public speaking, and business writing required. Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service required. Has a passion to work with Elders. Has the ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience with Microsoft Office suite required, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a high level of accuracy in data entry. Is able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in the English language. Is able to relate to effectively deal tactfully with team members across multiple processes, have strong interpersonal skills and maintain good working relationships with team members, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, benefits providers and the general public. Has a high degree of organization and attention to detail; has the ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. As a Human Resources Partner you can expect to: Works, in partnership with the Human Resources team, to provide excellent customer services, responding to all internal and external customers and inquiries, whether a walk-in or by phone, or by email, with timely and accurate information. Thoroughly audits new hire files; ensures all new hire files are complete and data is accurately entered into the HRIS for all team members. Completes all HRIS data entry for job changes, status changes, etc. ensuring that all changes are processed in a timely manner. Serves as a team member relations liaison and works to protect and maintain ERS's desired culture. Assists with ongoing team member recognition activities and service award programs. Assists with general HR functions, including but not limited to providing requested forms, answering inquiries from team members as needed, completing verifications, and proactively engaging with team members. Ensures team member certification/licensure compliance by following up on all certifications/licenses that are within 30 days of expiring. This includes managing the Ohio Nurse Aide registry. Ensures team members annual PPD compliance; follows up with managers on team members who are not in compliance. Maintains confidentiality in all human resource and business matters. Develops awareness of senior living and senior services industry. Ensures team member filing is completed accurately and timely. Assists with the HR portion of the regulatory state survey process. This may require running requested reports for state surveyors and meeting with state surveyors to review selected team member files. Assists in all aspects of worker's compensation, including maintaining data in HRIS and engaging with injured team members to ensure appropriate follow-up treatment and prompt return to work. Provide HR reporting to MPL and DH managers. Attends and participates in workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities to keep current with current trends and human resource subject matter.
