About the Position: Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and technical/functional design specifications to prepare RFP responses with complete compliance. Research emerging technologies in support of security integration. Interface with product and distribution partners to obtain full system pricing during the estimating process, including all required software modules, devices, and equipment. Review RFP specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents. Responsible for checking that the overall design is workable and the components are suitable for the project. Prepare detailed trade scopes of work and backup documentation. Accurately document all estimation information in a site-specific proposal folder to ensure that the rest of the team has easy access. Acquire product specs and cut sheets for all relevant equipment and software and identify any items with long lead times. Track and assist operations with awarded contracts and projects, which may include estimating/pricing extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring materials, and facilitating resolution of any contractual issues. Develop complete professional proposals including all required information (schedules, project narratives, organizational charts). Assist with city permitting if attending regularly scheduled conference calls. Effectively manage projects, people, and documentation until job completion, keeping projects on time and on budget. Design and configure security access systems (Parking Access Control Systems, EV Charging Stations, CCTV, and Intercom Systems) to meet project requirements. Your Qualifications: Previous experience with IT systems, low-voltage wiring, and access control systems is required. Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, office computer networking, and MS Windows PC/Server configuration is essential. Experience with parking revenue control systems or SQL is a plus.
